LAWYER

I began my career in the Monroe County Public Defender's Office. 4 years later I moved on to a law firm where I practiced civil litigation and criminal defense. I was later of counsel to a DWI defense firm. I have conducted countless hearings, jury trials, bench trials, and depositions, and have handled all aspects of both civil and criminal appeals.

 

I served on the Board of Trustees for the Monroe County Bar Association from 2020-23, and was the inaugural Chair of the Technology and Law Practice Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association from 2017 - 2020. In 2023 I was awarded the Monroe County Bar Association's Raymond J. Pauley Award and  2019 I was awarded the Monroe County Bar Association President's Award. I am also a Fellow with the College of Law Practice Management.
 

In the past, I was on the board of the Genesee Valley Civil Liberties Union, served on the Gender Equity Task Force Commission of the New York State Bar Association, was a member of the Rochester Advisory Board of Legal Assistance of Western New York from 2005-2008, and was a member of  the Board of Directors of the Monroe County Legal Assistance Corporation from 2000-2005.
